“The violation occurred when fans entered the field after the conclusion of the contest. The conference’s event security policy is designed to protect the safety and well -being of all athletes, coaches, officials and fans,” reads the statement.

“According to the ACC’s policy, the Florida state will incur a fine of $ 50,000 for a first crime.”
The Commissioner of ACC, Jim Phillips, announced policy change in July, which limits fans to assault the field in football and men and men female basketball.

“Our improved health and safety initiatives reflect our continuous responsibility to lead with integrity, prioritize the well -being of our programs and fans, and modernize our operations to meet the evolutionary needs of today’s university landscape,” Phillips said at the time of the announcement.
The ACC is not the first conference to implement policies aimed at frustrating fans to assault the field or court.
