Belichick’s girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, was present for the interview, and Belichick was asked how they met. Hudson interrupted the CBS interview to close that question, and, according to the reports, interrupted several times and even left in a moment, delaying the interview in about 30 minutes.
But, according to reports, Kass wrote to Belichick: “This is a book segment that looks at your life in football and what people can learn from you to achieve success in your own lives.”
After Belichick, according to the reports, wanted to reject the interview, another text that Kass wrote, according to the reports, “it would not be so insistent if this were not so important to reserve sales and without risks.”
It is also said that Kass told Belichick that he spoke with a CBS producer “about sticking to the book and shared that if they do, they will get a great interview, and that he was really open, saying that he is not interested in going beyond the book.”
Belichick issued a statement saying that he was “surprised” to get the questions about his relationship and that when Hudson had entered, she was doing her job. He also accused CBS of creating a “false narrative” with “selectively edited clips.”

“I agreed to speak with ‘CBS Sunday Morning’ to promote my new book, ‘The art of winning – lessons of my life in football’. Before this interview, I clearly communicated with my publicist in Simon & Schuster that any promotional interview in which I participated would accept to focus only on the content of the book,” he said at that time.
“Unfortunately, that expectation was not honored during the interview. It surprised me when unrelated issues were introduced, and I repeatedly expressed the journalist, Tony Dokoupil, and the producers who preferred to maintain the conversation focused on the book.”
Podcast host returns comments that demand the part of Jordon Hudson ‘choreographed’ of Bill Belichick’s interview
“After this happened several times, Jordon, with whom I share a personal and professional relationship, I intervened to reiterate that point to help focus the discussion. She was not diverting any specific questions or topic, but simply doing her work to ensure that the interview remained on the way. Some of the clips make it look like we were avoiding the question of the question of 2021.
“The last eight -minute segment does not reflect the productive 35 -minute conversation we had, which covered a wide range of issues related to my career. Instead, it presents clips and accommodation selectively edited from a few minutes from the interview to suggest a false narrative: that Jordon was trying to control the conversation, which simply is not true.”

CBS responded, disagree with the version of Belichick’s events.
“When we agreed to talk to Mr. Belichick, it was for a broad interview,” said the company. “There were no previous conditions or limitations for this conversation. This was repeatedly confirmed with its editor before the interview was carried out and after it was completed.”
In a request for comments on Kass’s text messages, CBS sent the same statement. Kass did not respond immediately.
Belichick, 73, and Hudson, 24, have been linked since last year. She has attended several events with him, including the honors of the February NFL.
