The last Windows 11 update is demonstrating to be a problem for some people who cannot even install it, and others are getting into trouble with the errors in the patch, or the fact that it does not solve the problems that are supposed to be.

The initial patch (with a KB5060842 code) stopped after Microsoft discovered that it was colliding with an anti-treatment tool, which means that the games that use that system would block.
To solve this, Microsoft launched a second update (Patch KB5063060) that replaced the first patch in Windows Update, but like the latest Windows reports, people find themselves with installation failures with that update.
Some users find non -sensitive and useless error messages (with meaningless error codes such as ‘0x800f0922’), while others say that the revised update is attacked by downloading and never really ends.
This is based on complaints from the Microsoft Comment Center, readers who contact Windows Latter directly and Reddit publications like this, which describes a worrying starting loop (three to four reset) before the user returns to Windows 11 to discover that the update installation had not worked.
There are people who also say that they have encountered errors with KB5063060. Those include reports of the freezing of the taskbar when the PC wakes up from sleep, and problems with external monitors are going badly and the Bluetooth devices are forgotten (so it must rediscover them every time Windows 11 is restarted).
There are some more worrying PC reports that end up freezing the complete stop, so they must restart. And there are some complaints (again in Reddit) that even after installing this second patch, which is supposed to work well with games that easily use anti-treatment (EAC), some games are still problematic.
“I still have the same problem playing Star Citizen,” a player wrote. “The freezing of the random game and the Windows event registration viewer that shows the EAC error.”
There are more reports by Fortnite and Efootball25 (which used to be PES) that are still starring, so it seems that not all wrinkles have been resolved.
ANALYSIS: A disappointingly messy display for June
Installation failures are a long -lasting problem with Windows 11 (and Windows 10 for the case). Therefore, it is not surprising that, given the failure of the initial update, more problems arise.
As the last Windows points out, because there were two updates this time, there may be problems with the PCs that already caught KB5060842 and are now obtaining the second update of KB5063060, because it has a game with EAC installed that is affected by the compatibility error against the treatment in the first.
In such scenarios, it is possible that Windows 11 tries to overwrite the first patch with the second is causing the Windows update to fall. However, those in this situation must be limited in numbers, since Microsoft took out the first patch quite quickly (so it did not reach many PC with games that use EAC, at least in theory anyway).
That is only speculation, but in any way that cuts it, this has been a messy launch of an update (well, technically a couple of updates).
What can you do if you can’t install the revised June update? An approach is to download the update manually and install it directly, what you can do taking the Microsoft site file (the X64 version, since the arm -based is for Snapdragon PC).
That should be installed successfully, but it would be quite distrustful of adopting this approach if you are not a reasonably safe computer user.
Alternatively, you can simply wait until Microsoft solves any problem behind your side, and the update could succeed under your own steam at the end of this week. However, there is no guarantee of that, and you are very in a situation less than ideal.
Those who can install the revised update, but are still experiencing to block with games (or elsewhere) cannot do much, except waiting and praying, any problem is solved. The only other possible route is to uninstall the patch, but that is not recommended because it comes out of its PC without the last round of security corrections provided with each accumulated update for Windows 11 (it also does not obtain the most recent characteristics, some of which are ingenious additions).
