- An error in iOS 18.4 arrested Airpods Max promised an update without loss to work
- Apple has solved the problem with firmware 7e101
- You will need your iPhone, iPad or Mac and your cargo cable
What is the name of an Apple update that doesn’t work? A Tim cook! I made that joke myself and I am very proud of it, but it is time to get seriously now: the Airpods Max audio update without losses of Apple was about to launch, it did not work properly, it was delayed and now it is working and ready to install it.
The problem was with iOS 18.4, the newest version of iOS, which contained the necessary code to update its Max Airpods. Unfortunately, that code did not work properly, and the update was not downloaded. Apple has solved the problem and also provided useful instructions on how to update its headphones.
How to install the audio update without losses in its airpods max
Here are the instructions, directly from Apple.
- Make sure your iPhone, iPad or Mac is updated to the latest version of iOS, iPados or Macos, and that Bluetooth is in
- Make sure your Max Airpods are connected through Bluetooth to your iPhone, iPad or Mac
- Connect your iPhone, iPad or Mac to Wi-Fi
- Connect the load cable to the lower right headset, then connect the other end of the cable to a USB charger or port
- Keep your Airpods Max in the Bluetooth range of your iPhone, iPad or Mac, and wait at least 30 minutes for the firmware to update
- Reconnect your Max Airpods to your iPhone, iPad or Mac
- Verify the firmware version again and make sure you list “7E101”
I am glad that this update has been solved, because it is welcome to the owners of the USB-C Max Airpods: once installed, you can obtain lossless audio on USB-C losses so that its airpods sound even better, and finally being able to use them with aircraft entertainment systems.
We are going to try the function to see if it sounds as good as this, ER, it sounds, at least, we will do it as soon as we have verified this firmware update.
