- Google Gemini is expected at Wear OS at some point in this year
- A Pixel Watch 2 user now claims to have seen the icon on his device
- It could insinuate new ways to handle the calls of AI.
We hope that Google Gemini replaces Google Assistant at Wear OS at some point this year, and now it could have appeared at Wearable Wild for the first time.
A Beebom Abubakar Mohammed Report appears to a Google Pixel Watch Watch 2 operating system, full of a Google Gemini icon that could suggest that a deployment of AI is close.
“When I received a call this morning, I looked at my pixel watch 2 and I saw a small Gemini icon inside the call call screen,” says the report.
Specifically, the icon marks the three -point button where Pixel Watch users would expect to find fast answers, a feature that allows you to quickly answer calls with a text message in case you cannot answer at that time.
Bebom has provided images and screenshots of the function, which could indicate that Google Gemini for Wear is very close, and could also give us the first track of some of the features we can expect.
Use OS Google Geminin Imminent launch?
As noted, Gemini seems to replace the Google assistant in the future, with code ropes that refer to Google Ai watches in Wear Os seen in January.
Based on our preliminary tests, this feature is not shown in our other Wear OS devices, namely, OnePlus Watch 3. However, Beebom points out this appeared in the Pixel Watch 2 connected to a OnePlus 12R and Pixel 6, which could indicate that you will not need the best Android smart watches to take advantage.
As for the characteristic itself, quick responses with Gemini could allow more specific ways to handle calls with one more context with AI. For example, if Google Gemini can see that he is currently sailing in a date on Google Maps, a quick response of AI could give a more specific location or his ETA to the person who calls him, directly from his wrist.
This could be a peculiarity of code, so we do not know with certainty when Google Gemini comes to use operating system. But its inclusion seems a certainty at this time. We communicate with Google to comment and we will update this story with any news.
