“Miller was a beloved son and brother and we still can’t understand our life without his infectious smile. He loved football, baseball, golf, hunting, fishing, his family and his friends. Life lived to the fullest every day.”

The Yankees also issued a statement about Miller’s death.

“We afflicted with Brett, Jessica, Hunter and his community of family and friends by crying the loss of Miller, who had a spark in his eyes, an outgoing and fighter personality, and a warm and loving nature.”
