The latest Microsoft update for Windows 11 has thrown more keys to the work for those who have updated to the most recent 24H2 turn of the desktop operating system.
The February accumulated update for 24h2 users (known as Patch KB5051987) did an admirable job in the error correction front, but unfortunately it also seems to have introduced some new problems in this Windows 11 incarnation.
And two of these problems are very worrying, the first of which is a mistake that is apparently reproducing ravages with the file explorer, as reported by Windows Laten and other Windows 11 users in several online forums.
File Explorer is the application in which desk folders are shown, which allows you to see and interact with the files inside. However, due to this error, you can not really see files, since some folders refuse to open.
Last Windows observes that documents and images of common use do not work after installing the February update for Windows 11 24h2. File Explorer does not work when you access through the Windows 11 search function, or a desktop shortcut.
Other users report several problems when opening certain folders, or in fact most folders, although some of them still seem to work.
In short, it is a strange sound error, which has unpredictable effects. But if you have installed KB5051987 and meet the rarity in terms of folders it simply does not work or appears at all, despite the fact that the file explorer is apparently well, as normal, within Windows 11, well, that’s why .
In addition to the scammence with the file explorer, the February update is not installed for some Windows 11 users (although that is nothing new, this is a common problem with many Windows updates these days).
