Dayle Haddon passed away at the age of 76.
The renowned actress and supermodel reportedly died on December 27 at the home of her son-in-law, Hallmark star Marc Blucas, in Solebury Township, Pennsylvania.
The reason for his death is suspected to be carbon monoxide poisoning, according to CBC News.
Police found a 76-year-old man unconscious on the first floor upon arrival, who was rushed to a nearby hospital. However, Haddon was discovered dead in a second-floor bedroom.
Fortunately, other family members who were in the main house on the property were not injured.
Haddon’s daughter, Ryan Haddon, shared a heartfelt tribute to her mother on Instagram.
She wrote: “The bright light that is Dayle has dimmed in this earthly realm. Shining somewhere as radiant as ever where it is needed most, I have no doubt.”
“She was a woman in her power, but gentle and attentive to everyone. Deeply creative and curious, endowed with beauty inside and out. Always kind and considerate,” Ryan continued about the Lady Claude actress.
He further added, “In conversation, she could reach the deepest places and also rise to the highest heights of spiritual understanding. She sustained many, saw their greatness sometimes hidden from them and always built bridges with her own connections to help “They rise. She was the best champion of all. An inspiration to many.”
