Holly Ramsay and Adam Peaty finally said “I do” in an intimate ceremony at Bath Abbey, with Holly walking down the aisle arm in arm with her famous father, Gordon Ramsay.

Holly, 25, who got engaged to the Olympic swimmer, 30, on September 12, 2024, looked nervous as she made her way through a chaotic crowd before heading down the aisle to exchange vows with her partner.

However, Adam’s parents were notably absent after a bitter family dispute with his mother, Caroline, reportedly led to them being disinvited from the ceremony.

Adam’s mother Caroline was said to be “beside her” with grief at missing out on what should have been one of the happiest days of her life.

Speaking from the council house where Adam grew up, the 59-year-old said the mail on Sunday: ‘They’re not going to hurt me like that again.’

She had told him yesterday daily mail that I felt like Holly and Adam ‘had ripped my heart out’.

The media outlet also claimed that, moments before entering the abbey holding hands with his five-year-old son George, Adam Peaty received a devastating text message from his aunt Louise, who was also not invited to the wedding.

In it, he wrote: “I hope you never suffer the deep pain that you have put your mother through and, despite everything, she still loves you.” What a shame for both of us. Pity.

“Remember on this, your happiest day, and on every anniversary of your happiest day, that you hurt your mother so deeply that her soul screams.”

For Adam’s part, his younger sister Bethany is the only member he believes remained close after the family fallout.
