Adam Sandler made an unexpected appearance at the 2025 Academy Awards during the Conan O’Brien opening monologue, where the two made a sample of playful jokes.
The 58 -year -old, following his tradition of knocking down casual clothes to formal events, attended the 97 Oscar on March 2 with a shiny blue hoodie and navy blue basketball shorts.
O’Brien realized, jokingly comparing Sandler’s outfit with someone’s, “dressed as a guy who played the poker video at 2 am”
Responding from his seat at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, Sandler said: “No one thought about what he was wearing until you mentioned it!”
He continued: “Do you know what, Conan? I like my appearance because I am a decent person. What I wear or I don’t care.
Although O’Brien offered an apology, Sandler finally decided to leave the auditorium, leaving the attendees to a hysterical laugh.
Before leaving, he managed to fit in a last branch, invited the attendees to a basketball game after the ceremony, and shared a cheerful moment with Timothée Chalamet, hugging him and giving him a playful kiss on his head.
