The world of major leagues was surprised when Darryl Kile, who launched a game without hits in 1997, suddenly died of a heart attack at 33 years ago more than two decades ago.
The Cardinals of St. Louis de Kile were in Chicago on June 22, 2002 to face their central rival puppies of the National League when the receptor Joe Girardi announced to the multitude of Wrigley Field that his game had been canceled due to a “tragedy in the cardinal family.”
The former cardinal pitcher, Adam Wainwright, who was in the Atlanta Braves organization at that time, said that Kile’s death was the “first time” that “he felt a bit vulnerable.”

“I was in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. And I looked at our boys and our boys were like … you felt a little fragile,” Wainwright said in a recent interview with Pak Gazette Digital. “If a stars and hits launcher in the big leagues can die out of nowhere, then what does he say that he could also not happen to us?”
Wainwright joined the cardinals the following year, and the presence of Kile was still felt. His shirt hung on his box without playing on the old busch Stadium until it was demolished in 2005.
“That was his locker. That is what he meant in that wardrobe for the boys there. Mike Matheny’s and Matt Morris and Rick Ankiel’s and Chris Carpenter. Those boys could study under him every day,” Wainwright said. “He would teach a guy who was sitting next to him and would say: ‘What are you thinking about this? He taught them to prepare.
“Then, by the time I arrived, I am sitting next to Matt Morris and Chris Carpenter, and Matt had learned from Darryl, and Matt could pour into Carp, and Carp could pour into me. It was simply to pass it down, and he wears that great veteran leaders Leaders like Darryl Kile. “

The bloodline of the cardinals is still deep, and generations of cardinals join at the end of this week. Wainwright and Kile’s daughter, Sierra, will throw the first launch in the cardinal game on Friday against the Milwaukee brewers to begin the association of the team with Merck to help raise awareness about the risk of heart disease and high cholesterol.
“What we are only trying to do is spread the awareness of the silent murderer. What kills more people and the country and worldwide every year is esoteric cardiovascular disease,” Wainwright said. “If you are aware of your health, and you are entering and see a lot to medical professionals, most of the time, this catches early, but many times, it is the silent murderer … then, what we are trying to do is create awareness. It is a great effort here that is a great effort for me, but that we can be a great effort, so it is a great effort. Luis Cardinal and be associated with Darryl Kile.”
Wainwright is encouraging everyone to talk to their doctors before it’s too late.

“When you are young, you feel invincible, so this is a message not only for people who are awake in years, this is also for a message for young people. Be sure to enter and meet with your medical professionals and see what you have to do for you,” he said. “It is very important to meet with your medical professionals and see what exactly what you need in your life is.”
