Adele, also known for her strong and soulful voice, is ready to take a new step in her career: towards acting.
Reports say that her big screen acting debut will be in the film directed by Tom Ford. cry out to heaven, which he also wrote.
Based on Anne Rice’s 1982 novel, the film’s plot follows “a Venetian nobleman and a master castrato, both trying to make it in the world of opera in the 18th century.”
Filming for the film will begin in January as it is already in pre-production in London and Rome and the makers are reportedly eyeing a 2026 release.
The move comes on the heels of a report that revealed Adele is taking a break from her public life to “live like a hermit” for a while.
“This breakup is not like the others,” a source told RadarOnline. “He is deliberately distancing himself from the public.”
“Her life right now is very private, almost solitary. She’s careful about what people can see, even people who have known her for years,” the source added.
It is worth noting that Adele made her last major public appearance in 2024 during her performance in Las Vegas.
