- The new Adobe Firefly video model is “friendly for IP and commercially safe”
- It is now available in Beta through the web application or premiere pro
- Current plans admit five seconds video generations of 1080p, 4k soon
Adobe has eliminated the wrapping of what calls the “only generative video model that is friendly with the IP and commercially safe.”
The new Firefly video model is available to test in beta in the Firefly and Adobe Premiere Pro web application with generative extension, and can produce video content generated by AI ready for production so that creatives can use to support their campaigns in line.
The addition of a generating video tool adds to the growing Adobe Firefly Suite available through the web application, including its popular image generator tool. To date, the company’s portfolio has generated 18 billion assets worldwide, a number that seems to be increasing exponentially.

Users can create videos with indications or text images, then refine the shots with tight camera angles and add more atmospheric and design elements. Available in beta, user subscribers can produce 1080p content, but a future update will bring the option to reduce video quality for faster processing and 4K resolution for lighter finish.
To match the beta launch of the Firefly video model, Adobe is also adding a Firefly Standard and Firefly Pro plan to their subscription options. The company provides that the creators collect the video generated by the AI and refine it in its other creative software in the cloud, as Premiere Pro.
“We loved knowing about beta customers who have found a change of game to devise concepts and produce impressive videos, and we cannot wait to see how the creative community uses it to bring their stories to the world,” said the business president of adobe digital media, David Wadhwani.
Firefly Standard and Pro include unlimited access to Firefly images and vector features, as well as staggered capacity for video and audio functions, starting with 2,000 video/audio credits and up to 20 videos of five seconds of 1080p for $ 9.99 per month.
The highest plan, with a price of $ 29.99 per month, increases the capacity to 7,000 credits and 70 videos of five seconds.
