Islamabad:
The Interior Ministry issued a formal notification on Tuesday to initiate the return of registration registration cards (POR), establishing September 1 as the start date to repatriate those who do not choose to return voluntarily.
According to the notification, the voluntary repatriation process of card holders will begin immediately, while the mandatory repatriation of the remaining people will begin from September 1.
The decision was made during a high -level meeting in view of the growing security concerns and pressure on national resources.
The notification clarifies that the ongoing repatriation process for the headlines of the Afghan citizen card will continue according to the previous decision of the interim frame for the return process (IFRP).
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will collaborate with relevant international organizations, including the Afghan interim government, UNHCR and others, to facilitate the return of Afghan refugees.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Affairs of Cashmiro, Gilgit-Baltistan and Safrron, will provide data from by complete to the respective provincial committees and district level.
The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) will guarantee the unincription of the Afghans returning in traffic areas and border terminals. The Federal Research Agency (FIA) has had the task of supporting the return process at the designated border crossing points.
All provincial governments and relevant agencies have received instructions to map all or or jurisdictions.
