- Workers who use AI every day are more likely to feel job satisfaction
- Clear communication on corporate the strategies is important
- AI users are a little more stressed, but this could mean a greater commitment
According to the joint research of Jabra and the Institute for Research of Happiness, workers who use artificial intelligence every day are 34% more satisfied with their work than their non -users.
It was also revealed that a clear strategy and communication are vital, with employees who know the strategy of their company 2.5x more hopeful about the future.
In fact, AI has proven to be so useful in work environments that workers report better work balances, and happy employees are generally 4.5 times more likely to be happy in life outside of work.
AI at work is emerging to be something good
According to figures, frequent users of AI report an achievement of more solid objectives, more advanced opportunities and greater optimism about the enjoyment and fulfillment of future work.
However, the pressure to master the tools, the rapid elaboration and the output verification of AI is assembly, and frequent users of AI report up to 20% more stress than rare users. Slightly high stress as this could mean a greater commitment, however, the increase in stress could also put workers at risk of exhaustion.
Slow adoption could also hinder the results, with only one third (30%) of workers who say their company is significantly ready for AI. This lack of preparation could be harming morality and growing frustration, despite the interest and will demonstrated by employees.
However, an important conclusion of the study is that AI is much more than a productivity tool. “It is easy to talk about AI in terms of productivity. But we must start talking about it in terms of psychology,” explained the CEO of the Happiness Research Institute, Meik Wiking.
The Jabra joint report also turns the discussion about the AI that replaces human workers in their head, instead of proposing that those who do not use AI could be less likely to feel satisfied in their work.
