Aj Dillon wants to cause a good impression when he takes the field with the queen champions of the Super Bowl on September 4.
The corridor spent his first five years in the NFL with the Green Bay Packers, sharing touches with Aaron Jones during most of his mandate. Dillon lost the 2024 season with a neck injury, but the Philadelphia Eagles signed him in the free agency, and it is obvious to see why he joined the birds.

“Leaving a Super Bowl, the best offensive line in football, Saquon [Barkley]”Sa Guy I’ve met for a long time, so it really worked perfect,” Dillon told Pak Gazette Digital in a recent interview. “I love my role there, I know my teammates, Philly is a big city, they obtained incredible fans, food is excellent, football is great and it is a big city. It is incredible to be there, and I am looking forward to the season.”
However, earlier this month, in an effort to light his mind before heading to the training camp, Dillon joined several other NFL stars, including Justin Herbert, Kyler Murray and the eventual winner Justin Reid in the Chess.com Blitzchamp Tournament.
Reid also won the tournament last year.
Dillon’s results were not what I expected, saying: “There are some chess sharks in the league,” but added that the chess game is an ideal warming ideal for football.

“I think the mental piece in football is a great thing. I think that when you talk about what distinguishes people, because obviously, everyone has talent at the university level, and in the NFL, they are all big and strong, but it is that mental piece,” Dillon continued. “How fast can you collect information? How can you think of the exploration report, etc.?
“You can only do a lot of football, so even trying to challenge your mind, but also leave your mind of football. Chess is an excellent way, and trying to stimulate the mind in different ways, chess does it in a way in which you are really thinking strategically, and there are many correlations between chess and football, I believe.”
Dillon could also raise money for his charity, which began last year.
“Being able not only to play chess and have fun, but also to have extra money to donate to a great cause, like everyone else can do for what they represent, this is a great blessing in itself,” he added.
The competitive nature in Dillon will not allow him to call him after an appearance in a lower tournament.

“Next time, I’ll be much better. I was definitely hungry. I’m a competitor,” Dillon said. “It’s fine, my first time. I know what the competition is like, so I have to intensify it. I have the application of Chess.com downloaded on the phone, so when I had some time of inactivity, I will definitely play some exhibition games and things like that. Definitely looking at the tables next year.”
