MUZAFFARABAD:
Azad Jammu and Kashmiro (AJK) President of the Supreme Court Raja Saeed Akram made a courtesy visit to the justice of the Supreme Court of Pakistan (CJP), Yahya Afridi, in the Supreme Court of Pakistan on Friday.
During the meeting, Judge Akram extended his sincere congratulations to Judge Afridi for assuming the highest judicial position in the country. He transmitted his best wishes for the possession of Aphridi, emphasizing the importance of strengthening the rule of law and guaranteeing the effective dispensation of justice.
Both dignitaries participated in a constructive exchange of opinions on matters of mutual interest, reaffirming their commitment to judicial cooperation and institutional development.
CJ Khan formally invited CJ Aphridi to attend the Azad Jammu and Kashmira International Judicial Conference, scheduled for May 10, 2025.
The Conference will bring together legal experts, members of the Judiciary and academics to discuss key legal and judicial issues, including the uniqueness of the judicial structure of AJK, the evolution of jurisprudence in AJK and international laws related to the Jammu and Cashmira dispute.
