MUZAFFARABAD:
The Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) has appointed Dr. Muhammad Muqeem Ul Islam as the new general director of the Cashmiro Management Institute (Kim).
The appointment was made by AJK’s Prime Minister after a rigorous and competitive selection process carried out by recommendation of the Board of Governors of Kim.
The post had remained vacant for 18 months, significantly interrupting the training of public officials and administrative development in the region.
Dr. Muqeem has a doctorate in public policies and governance of the University of National Defense (NDU), a scholarship in public policies for economists from the University of Oxford, and an Mphil in Economic Development.
In the last 25 years, it has served in training and leadership roles for older people in top -level institutions such as the National School of Public Policies (NSPP) and the National Institute of Public Administration (NIFUA).
