AJK Tax Asaan Mobile App Launched


The main objective is to provide taxpayers with an integrated, secure and easy-to-use system.

MUZAFFARABAD:

Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) Inland Revenue Department (IRD) has launched “AJK Tax Asaan Mobile App” and “BI Revenue Collection/IT Dashboard” to ensure direct, fast and effective communication between taxpayers and the department.

AJK Minister of Revenue and Finance Chaudhry Qasim Majeed formally inaugurated the modern digital systems aimed at improving revenue collection.

A demo of the AJK Tax Asaan mobile application and BI IT/revenue collection dashboard was presented at the launch ceremony. Officials highlighted that following the successful implementation of AJK’s Point of Sale (POS) billing system, the integration of advanced digital modules will further improve transparency and efficiency in revenue collection.

On the occasion, Majeed said that the main objective of the new digital platforms is to provide taxpayers with an integrated, secure and easy-to-use system.

He added that through the mobile application, taxpayers will be able to check the invoices issued under the POS Billing System, view their registration details, access return related information, make tax payments online, track the status of cases or applications and manage various online modules and services of the AJ&K IRIS system directly from their mobile devices.
