Aungzeb Alam’s body, a school teacher who along with his two young children jumped into the sea near ‘Do Darya’ on Thursday, was recovered from the sea near the port of China on Saturday.
The tragic incident developed after Aurengzeb, who was involved in a judicial battle for the custody of the children due to domestic disputes, took his children with him after leaving the court. In a moment of overwhelming despair, he made the heartbreaking decision to jump into the sea.
Sagheer Alam identified his brother, a resident of the city of Orangi. According to Sagheer, his brother Aurengzeb was the father of three children, and his six -year -old son lived with the mother.
After a judicial hearing on Thursday, Aurangzeb Alam, in a state of extreme anguish, took his two children and jumped into the sea.
After the incident, an eyewitness informed the situation to the police, which caused a search and rescue operation of the Edhi team.
During the search, his son Ahmad’s body was located near the Pakistan monument in Sea View, while his daughter Ayat’s body was found near the clock tower.
