Almost 90% of Internet users in Iran depend on VPN services to navigate generalized interruptions on the Internet, according to the latest report of the Tehran Electronic Commerce Association published on Sunday, August 3.

The report, which classifies Iran as 97 out of every 100 countries for Internet quality, also criticizes Iranian authorities for not addressing calls to improve national connectivity, Iran’s international reported.
