A key feature of Aman-25 will be the first Aman Dialogue, where chiefs of naval forces, chiefs of coast guards and senior leaders from around the world will discuss regional maritime security and devise joint strategies to counter the evolving maritime threats.

According to a press release issued by the Director General of Public Relations (Navy), delegations from around the world will also attend the inaugural Aman International Dialogue, which will take place in conjunction with the exercise.

The Aman series has been a hallmark of the Pakistan Navy’s efforts to promote regional peace and cooperation. Launched in 2007, the inaugural exercise saw the participation of 28 countries. By 2023, the number of participating nations had grown to 50.

The Aman exercise consists of port and sea phases. During the port phase, activities such as seminars, operational discussions, anti-terrorist demonstrations and pre-sail planning of developments at sea will take place. The marine phase would include tactical maneuvers, exercises related to maritime security such as anti-piracy and terrorism, search and rescue, artillery firing and air defense exercises. The highlight of the marine phase will be the International Fleet Review, which will be witnessed by national and foreign dignitaries. Pak Marines and Special Service Group (Navy) would demonstrate anti-terrorist skills during the peace exercise.
