The veteran open receiver of the NFL Amari Cooper has informed the Raiders of Las Vegas that he no longer wants to play football and intends to retire before the 2025 season.
Cooper, who has played for the Cleveland Browns, the Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills, began his career with the Raiders, which made the firm with the team a little more than a week ago is especially significant. He said he had some juice in the tank to continue playing.

Cooper was a member of the then Raiders of Oakland when they selected him in the fourth place in general in Alabama in 2015. He contained 225 trapped for 3,183 yards and 19 touchdowns in 52 games with the franchise, winning three of his five Pro Bowl selections.
The Raiders changed him to the cowboys in the middle of the 2018 campaign, since the team was knocking out the list.

Cooper was not the only star that left, since Khalil Mack was changed to the Chicago Bears before the NFL deadline.
Cooper quickly consolidated as a reliable option for the Dak Prescott field marshal, transporting 292 passes for 3,893 yards and 27 touchdowns in 56 games. The Cowboys signed Cooper with an extension of five years and $ 100 million in March 2020, which rewarded him for his efforts while using “The Star.”

But he was a victim of the salary cover in 2022 when the cowboys treated the Cleveland Browns.
It passed parts of three seasons in Cleveland, accumulating 2,660 yards in 174 trapped with 16 touchdowns in 38 games. Cooper began the 2024 season in Cleveland, but was changed again, this time to the Bills.
In Buffalo, Cooper caught a touchdown by Josh Allen, and many believed that the NFL 2024 MVP had found a solid option to capture passes. However, Cooper’s role never flourished, since it caught only one more touchdown during the regular season.

For his career, Cooper ended with 711 receptions, 10,033 reception yards and 64 total touchdowns.
