- AMD has officially presented the RX 9060 XT graphics card
- It comes in versions of 8 GB and 16 GB with a price of $ 299 and $ 349
- That price, and a Peppy specification, exceed the rival RTX 5060 TI of NVIDIA
AMD has revealed its last RDNA 4 graphics card in Computex 2025, with RX 9060 XT in flavors of 8GB and 16 GB, as it has been rumored for some time.
The 9060 XT RX has 32 computer units (CUS), compared to 56 CUS in RX 9070, as we also listen through the VID, and in fact, the rumor factory was quite successful about the specifications here.
The main piece of key information that they needed was the price, and now we have that: the 8GB model will be sold to $ 299, and if you want the 16 GB version of this graphics card, it will be executed at $ 349.
Other specifications include the 9060 XT using GDDR6 VRM and have a 3.1GHz impulse clock, with a 180W TDP.
AMD provided some early performance teasers, and apparently, RX 9060 XT will overcome the NVIDIA RTX 5060 TI in games when you do not use the generation of paintings.
As Videcardz reports, AMD let us know that the new graphics card will go on sale on June 5 (which was predicted again through rumors).
ANALYSIS: A GPU full of value with a lot of promise
AMD reference points should be taken with some caution, since with any marketing material, some cherry collectors may be involved, but RX 9060 XT looks good with this test. It is shown as 6% faster than the RTX 5060 TI in a 40 -game suite at a 1440p resolution with ‘ultra’ graphics details.
Together with that competitive price, RX 9060 XT is a very welcome addition to the middle-medium range of the GPU market. In fact, AMD also showed a presentation slide that declared that RX 9060 XT offers buyers 15% more yield per dollar than RTX 5060 TI (working with that same test battery in more than 40 games).
I must keep in mind that AMD is comparing the 8 GB version of the RTX 5060 TI of NVIDIA with the 16 GB flavor of 9060 XT, which emits a different light on those performance metrics, but the relative price still looks good about the network equipment here.
It is also worth taking into account that if it goes with 9060 XT 8GB, this uses the complete PCIE lanes complement, while that is cut in half with the 5060 Ti 8GB, and that can be important for the oldest PCs that do not have PCIE 5.0. Mainly because (latest generation) PCIE 4.0 demonstrates a bottleneck in the bandwidth available for the GPU with only half of those active lanes (but not with the complete 16 lane set, such as the AMD design choice).
So, that is another victory for AMD, and has a strong offer on the table with RX 9060 XT. The remaining question is that, without reference boards of the network equipment, and the company that depends completely on the manufacturers of third -party graphics cards, are we going to see the MSRP attached? Or, if RX 9060 XT models will be popular, will prices be inflated by those members who do the Board?
Much of the response to that can be linked to stock levels, which is another variable here: How robust will the initial supply levels be? The good news is that it is rumored that AMD will not leave us in the stock of stocks, and much of the speculation about these new RDNA 4 models has proven to be correct, so it is expected that this statement also works.
However, we will not know for a couple of weeks, and the real prices on the shelves, unlike the destination MSRP established by AMD, will continue to be a critical part of the equation here with the initial launch of RX 9060 XT.
