The Federal Minister of Cashmira and Gilgit-Baltistan Affairs, Amir Muqam, was involved in a traffic accident near Murree on his trip back to Islamabad after completing an official visit to Azad Cashmira. According to the sources, five people from their protocol team suffered injuries, two of which are reported that they are in critical condition, said Express News.
The incident occurred within the limits of Murree, where one of the protocol vehicles was significantly damaged. Fortunately, Muqam emerged unharmed from the accident.
The rescue teams responded promptly, and the injured were transferred to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Murree to receive medical treatment. Emergency response operations intensified in the area after the incident.
The initial reports indicated that the minister was on his way to Islamabad when the accident took place. The Murree Police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
