- Desktime Study finds that 75.9% of the offices have chatgpt in their workflow
- The time dedicated to using chatgpt in the workplaces of the United States. UU. Increased by 42.6%
- Security concerns limit the adoption of chatgpt in some important global companies such as Apple, Amazon and Bank of America
The rapid increase in China Depseek had no precedents, but the buzz that surrounds its increase is now fading, with new research offers new ideas about the global adoption of AI.
A desktop study, carried out between January 2023 and December 2024, surveying 2,385 employees in 97 companies that use their Chatgpt time monitoring tool remains the most used AI tool in workplaces worldwide, with adoption rates that continue to grow.
The survey found that as of December 2024, 75.9% of the global offices had integrated to ChatgPT in their workflows, with India leading the way, with 92% of the workplaces surveyed there the reports using the tool.
The adoption of Chatgpt of the United States.
In the US, the adoption of the workplace increased from 68% by 2023 to 72% in 2024. Although this growth was slower compared to other regions, the time dedicated to Chatgpt increased significantly, with 42.6% of the employees who reported greater use.
Meanwhile, individual adoption reached 28.3% of employees in the US, a significant increase of 17% in 2023. This suggests that, although more employees incorporate AI in their work, the broader implementation of the entire company has slowed down.
The Desktime study also found that 75% of the US offices used AI tools, including Chatgpt platforms and other similar platforms, in 2024, marking a slight decrease of 76% in the previous year.
Interestingly, the adoption of the fluctuated throughout the year, and the use decreased to 63% in January 2024 before increasing to 81% in October. These variations suggest that seasonal work trends, company policies or attitudes evolving towards automation can influence AI adoption rates.
Despite the generalized use, the slowest rhythm of the new adoption of the Chatgpt workplace indicates that companies without prior exposure to it are doubts.
“Although the adoption of ChatgPT varies between offices, it is still in use in almost 75% of the United States workplaces. The slow growth in the use of chatgpt could be attributed to the adoption of other generative AI tools, as well as to the policies of the company that prohibit or restrict the use of chatgpt for work purposes due to concerns about data security and confidentiality, “said Artis Rozentals, CEO of Desktime.
“For example, Apple, Amazon and Bank of America are well -known names that have restrictions on the use of the tool.”
