Teenage phenom Andreeva has taken victory in the Adelaide International 2026 teen clash for the fourth consecutive time.
Andreeva defeated Victoria Mboko 6-3, 6-1 in the final to win her first WTA 500 title.
It was Andreeva’s 12th win from the last 13 games to capture the Adelaide 2026 title.
After the win, Andreeva said during the trophy ceremony: “Hello everyone. First, of course, I’m going to congratulate Vicky and her team. They’ve been playing amazing since last year and I just want to congratulate them on a great week.”
He joked with his own team, saying, “I don’t know, I guess my team is next. But I feel like it’s all me. I don’t know what I can do. I’ve been working, I’ve been sweating, and I honestly don’t know why you’re here.”
The world No. 8 showed the world in the final in Adelaide that the important thing is not how you start, but how you finish.
As was evident from her spectacular display of play, having lost the first three games but winning nine in a row between the first and second sets to follow up with a straight sets victory over Victoria Mboko, she claimed the fourth crown of her career.
Full of triumph, the teenage phenom shared a post-match montage post.
In a two-line lyrical couplet, she was seen saying: “Myrrh, Myrrh on the wall, I am Adelaide’s champion after all.”
