Andrew Mountbatten Windsor has been working behind the scenes to get some alone time with Prince Harry, as has just been claimed.
The revelation comes via a well-placed source who has just sat down with intimately magazine.
According to their findings, Andrew’s motivations stem from Prince Harry’s decision to refute accusations of a rift between him and his uncle.
According to the source, “he was grateful that Harry went out of his way to deny rumors of a fight between them and would like to thank him for doing so, as they think about ways to reduce William together.”
So, “if this goes ahead, Andrew will use that as a good excuse to contact Harry, but he is also trying to pull strings through his daughters Beatrice and Eugenie, who of course are still very close to both Harry and Meghan.”
However, “in an ideal world, he would like to start chatting to Harry on the phone straight away, as well as meeting face to face the next time he is in the UK.”
While the source admits that “it may seem like a long shot, but Andrew is in desperation mode right now and is looking for all the allies he can latch onto.”
However, back at Buckingham Palace it seems other royals aren’t as interested, especially Prince William, who was “furious” when the King even agreed to meet his brother during his four-day charity tour of the UK earlier this year.
According to the source, “taking a zero-tolerance approach is something he would love to do with the Sussexes, but to a less urgent extent as they are no longer in England or hanging around Windsor while living just a stone’s throw from their new home.”
“But make no mistake; the Sussexes would be taking a huge risk if they were seen siding with Andrew,” they concluded.
