Andrew Mountbatten Windsor has just seen what the consequences are, for each and every visit to royal castles, now that King Charles has stripped him of his titles.
The whole matter has been brought to light by Ephraim Hardcastle of the Daily Mail, in one of his articles.
According to the commentator, “everything has changed at Windsor Castle” for the disgraced former duke.
Because “on his first visit since the defenestration of his title, the former prince was not greeted by the guards. The usual bows that they offered him at every step (and woe to those who forgot them) have disappeared.”
According to the expert, “some even enjoyed calling him Mr. Mountbatten Windsor, instead of His Royal Highness.”
What makes matters worse, however, is that before this “there were worse things in store for fallen SAR.” Because “they have withdrawn the privilege of having meals sent from the Castle, a Royal Deliveroo.”
King Charles’ statement on Andrew’s title:
This all happened after King Charles released an official statement through Buckingham Palace that said: “Her Majesty has today commenced a formal process to remove the style, titles and honors of Prince Andrew.”
“Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. His lease of Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in his residence. A formal notice has now been given to renounce the lease and he will move to alternative private accommodation.”
“These censures are deemed necessary, even though he continues to deny the allegations against him. Their Majesties wish to make it clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been and will continue to be with the victims and survivors of each and every form of abuse.”
