Angel Reese has had an unquestionable impact on women’s basketball.
But the Chicago Sky forward’s influence is expanding from the field to the court. Victoria’s Secret has chosen Reese to walk in the clothing and beauty retailer’s fashion show in New York City, where she will become the first athlete to walk the runway in the event’s history.
After attending last year’s show as a guest, Reese said she will now be one of the brand’s global ambassadors.

“I literally couldn’t stop smiling.” Reese told People. “It’s such a surreal, full-circle moment: last year I was in the audience claiming to be on that runway, completely inspired and in awe of all the powerful women walking down the runway, and now I get to return as an angel. This will be an unforgettable night that I will always be grateful for.”

Reese added that she wants to encourage women to achieve in all areas.
“I hope to inspire women and girls around the world and remind them that we can dominate in our field but also pursue our goals outside of it, and for me, that is walking the most iconic runway in fashion and entertainment,” added the two-time WNBA All-Star.

Since his rise to basketball stardom, Reese has also built his brand off the court.
She hosts her podcast “Unapologetically Angel” and has partnered with Reebok and other high-profile brands. Last August, he unveiled his collaboration with Reese’s, which released the “Angel Reese x Reese’s Pieces Logo Collection.”

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show returned last year after a six-year hiatus.
The 2025 show is scheduled for October 15 and will stream live on Prime Video.
“I’ve been training for both basketball and the fashion show these past few weeks,” Reese explained. “And I’m ready to trade in my Angel Reese 1s for heels on Wednesday night!”
