Angel Reese will return to his old land at the end of this year.
As part of the preseason of the WNBA, Reese and her sky of Chicago will go to Baton Rogue to face the Brazilian national team.

The game will take place at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center, where Reese spent two university seasons.

“It will be incredible to return to Baton Rouge, a community that means a lot to me,” Reese said in a statement. “Lsu was essential to prepare for the WNBA, and I can’t wait to go to the court in front of the tigers and fans of heaven.”
Reese left his mark on the tradition of LSU after taking the Tigers to the 2023 National Championship about Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes.
“We are excited to organize a WNBA game in May with Chicago Sky and Angel Reese,” said LSU coach Kim Mulkey. “Angel played an important role in establishing our program in LSU, and I know that our fans will be excited to have her back in the PMAC. Clark ruled out any notion that he recesses “should be criticized at all” after the fact, but the two have gone hand in hand in the conversations surrounding female basketball, both inside and outside the floor.
Reese’s teammate, Kamilla Cardoso, will go against her native national team. She was the third team of the Draft, behind Clark and Cameron Brink, after completing an undefeated season with South Carolina.

In his two seasons in LSU, Reese averaged 20.9 points and 14.4 rebounds and was twice a first All-American team.
