Anne Hathaway and Adam Driver are the duo that we didn’t know we needed!
The couple will join for the big screen for a war drama Only at dawnthat Ron Howard directs for Amazon MGM.
Alone At Dawn is inspired by the true history of the John Chapman Air Force Fight (driver) and an intelligence officer (Hathaway) who fought to obtain a medal of honor.
This film will be based on the book Only at dawn which was released in 2019 written by the authors Dan Schilling and Lori Longfritz, Chapman’s sister.
A description of the Grand Central Publishing Book Editor, a printing press of the group of books of acer, states: “In the hours of damage of March 4, 2002, just below the 10,469 feet peak of a mountain in eastern Afghanistan, a fierce battle unleashed. Teammate.”
“Chapman, leading the load, was seriously injured in the initial assault. Believing that he was dead, his seal leader ordered a retirement. Chapman regained his conscience alone, with the enemy approaching three sides,” reads himself.
Attracting readers even more, he continues: “The subsequent exhibition of incredible values of John Chapman: first saving the life of his senior teammates and then, knowing that he was injured in death, just by itself, attract two dozens of hardened combatants to save the life of an incoming rescue squad. Heroes.”
It is pertinent to mention that Michael Russell Gunn, a writer-producer adapted the script with Erin Cressida Wilson, working on rewriting.
Amy Herzog has also contributed to the script, while Schilling, a former combat control technique, is a military consultant of the film.
