The path of the Philadelphia Eagles towards the Super Bowl consecutive championships will begin on September 4 when the team faces the Dallas Cowboys to officially start the 2025 season.
The NFL announced the first game of the season on Monday. The game will be played in Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. The Eagles swept the season against the cowboys in 2024.

Jalen Hurts will return to the center of the Eagles with the superstars Saquon Barkley, Devonta Smith and Dallas Goedert establishing the offensive with him. Barkley led the Eagles as the offensive player of the year while running for 2,005 yards and 13 touchdowns, approaching the race record of an Eric Dickerson season.
The defense of the Eagles tormented Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City bosses at the Super Bowl Lix, and will return to Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, Nolan Smith Jr., Zack Baun, Jalyx Hunt, Reed Blankenship, Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper Dejean. The team was the first at allowed points and the second in allowed yards. Not to mention that the team added to the supporter Jihaad Campbell in the draft.
Dallas will seek to spoil the party.

Dak Prescott is expected to be healthy and ready to take the cowboys back to the promised land.
The Cowboys did not make a great splash in the low season, but the team added to the open receiver George Pickens and the corridor Javonte Williams, as well as the supporter Kenneth Murray.

Dallas has lost three of four against Philadelphia. The last victory arrived on December 10, 2023. The cowboys possess the series of all time against the Eagles with a 71-57 record.
