History about the calendar for the Minnesota Vikings this season.
The NFL announced its international calendar on Tuesday, showing that games will take place in Brazil, the United Kingdom, Germany, Ireland and Spain this season.

The Vikings will be the first NFL team to compete abroad in consecutive weeks. Minnesota will face the Pittsburgh Steelers in Croake Park in Dublin on September 28. The game will be seen at 9:30 am et and will be broadcast on NFL Network.
“Playing in the first game of the NFL of Ireland is an opportunity to present new fans to the Vikings of Minnesota and help the league to continue making the football game more accessible worldwide,” said the owner of the Vikings team, Mark Wilf, in a press release. “Doing it against a historical franchise like the Pittsburgh Steelers adds a unique challenge that makes this even more special.
“We are honored to be selected for this historical game and we will be anxious to see what promises to be an electric day environment in Croke Park.”

The following week, the Vikings will face the Cleveland Browns. The game will begin at 9:30 am et too and will take place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
“Our experiences in London have always been memorable, so return in 2025 as the first team to play in consecutive international games in different countries was something we could not miss,” Wilf added. “The United Kingdom fans have a story of appearing and hugging the Vikings of Minnesota, creating what it often feels like a local field environment, and we hope that this is what we see again in 2025”.
Minnesota first played Pittsburgh abroad in 2012. It was the first season that NFL had multiple games in London. The team played the Browns in London in 2017 and returned to play against the New Orleans Saints in 2022.

Last season, the Vikings defeated the New York Jets at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
