- The DJI Osmo Pocket 4 has appeared in another leaked image
- Vlogging camera launch shouldn’t be far away
- May come with optional wireless remote accessory
It looks like we won’t see the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 vlogging camera replaced before the end of 2025, but another image of its successor has leaked online, along with details of a new accessory that could accompany it.
Tipster @OsitaLV (via Notebookcheck) has posted a new image of the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 (the leftmost camera in the image below), along with its predecessor (the middle camera) and an unidentified camera on the far right that we can’t see.
The changes we’ve seen in previous leaks are again visible here: there’s a larger camera housing, which we think fits in a dual-lens setup, as well as additional physical buttons below the rotating viewfinder screen.
Could the camera on the far right be a single lens version of the DJI Osmo Pocket 4? It’s hard to say and we haven’t heard too many rumors about multiple variants of this camera, although it’s definitely possible that standard and professional versions will be offered.
An accompanying accessory
We were hoping that the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 would come out before the end of the year, but that now seems unlikely to happen. Those in the know say quality control issues have caused the camera to be delayed until 2026.
To make matters even more complicated, new DJI products are now banned in the US, as of December 23rd. It looks like the new camera won’t be launching there at all, although the previously purchased DJI kit should continue to work normally.
We also heard that the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 could come with a new accessory – the new camera (again via Notebookcheck) spotted something called the DJI Osmo FrameTap which has been registered with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the US.
It’s unclear how that fits with the US ban, but the listing suggests it’s a wireless remote that goes with the camera. Given the number of leaks we’ve seen so far, it shouldn’t be long before these devices become official.
