The Indianapolis field marshal, Anthony Richardson, suffered an injury in his first 2025 preseason game on Thursday night when he was fired by David Ojabo of the Baltimore Ravens.

Ojabo had a clean race in Richardson and seemed to hurt the finger of the field marshal. After the bag, Richardson ran to the bank and was replaced by Daniel Jones.

Jones stayed as a quartback for the next offensive series of the team.
Richardson guided the Colts to a field goal on his first trip.

The plan for Indianapolis before the game was for Richardson to start and play 1½ rooms, with Jones playing half a fourth.
