AOL and Yahoo Mail seem inactive for users of us – get live updates

I feel sorry for small businesses when these forms of email interruptions occur, since they probably lack the resources and support systems to mitigate such interruptions.

Interestingly, the registration page for AOL email still seems to be active …

I cannot see any interruption for cloud platform suppliers that can affect email services and support infrastructure, so I am a bit limited about how much I can speculate on the cause of this email interruption.

Nothing new from Yahoo or Aol how long this interruption will last or what causes it.

With so many customers and email services, one might think that an AOL/Yahoo interruption could go through a little about a little, but as a descent poster points out: “Rip. You cannot recover the MFA codes.”

So, if you are using an email service of this type to handle multifactor authentication, then it could be a bit stuck.

So why are Aol and Yahoo suffering an interruption? Well, they merged into a company, so it is almost certain that they share infrastructure, which means that it is likely that an interruption for one brand affects the other.

This user is not happy …

Things are not exactly pink for AOL, with responses to the company’s x account that indicates that the interruption is somewhat widespread in the United States and that affects different devices.

There is a bit of inconsistency in how interruption seems to be affecting Yahoo Mail users, and some say they can log in to their email but do not receive any message, while others notice that they cannot give in any of their emails, with error messages that are thrown.

Likewise, and a little like me, some people have expressed ironic that people are still using Yahoo email …

As expected, there is not much friendly feeling for Yahoo in X, and a user said: “Yahoo’s email is not reliable. It’s time to find something better, and that should not be too difficult.”

The same could be said of Yahoo Mail in the United Kingdom, although it seems to me that on the descent page, problem reports could be decreasing.

In the United Kingdom there was a tip of AOL interruption reports, again related to emails, but the interruption seems much smaller; That could be due to fewer users from the United Kingdom than in the United States.

It seems to me that this interruption has been happening for AOL since around 10 am et.

And there have been increasing reports about Downetector, which would indicate that this problem is being generalized in the United States.

Looking at the Downector report for AOL, it seems to be specifically affecting the email side of its services.

“I am in Alabama. I can log in and show the email, but the messages say there was an error to get the elements of the list. I used more outlook and I receive a synchronization error for my Aol account. A user said in Donwdetector.

It seems to be a day for interruptions such as in the United Kingdom, the EE network supplier is also suffering an interruption, which also seems to be ongoing.

Yahoo has basically said the same as Aol on X: “We understand that some users are experiencing difficulties in accessing their accounts. We are actively investigating this problem and we will provide updates as soon as there is more information available. We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience that this can cause.”

AOL led X to publish that he is experiencing interruption problems with the IT email service.
