- Apple’s first Home Smart Home Center could be launched as soon as this year later
- It will look like a cross between a homepod and an iPad
- A more advanced device with a robotic arm can be launched for a year or two later
If you have been following the recent Apple news, you may have heard the rumor that the company is working in a homemade center that looked like a cross between a Homepod and an iPad. Given Apple’s pedigree, he has the potential to become one of the best intelligent domestic devices, and now it seems that the device could launch as soon as the end of 2025.
That is according to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, who said in his possession in the newsletter that we could have in our hands this product “at the end of this year as soon as possible” (although that is not yet in stone). I could mark Apple’s attempt to dominate the smart home and make more incursions into artificial intelligence (AI), something that expects its Apple intelligence platform to be a key part.
1. A new operating system that extracts from TVOS
Interested in this device? We have already heard some things about it, and is certainly emerging as a striking addition to Apple’s products list. That is partly due to the fact that Apple is supposedly working in a completely new operating system for the product, potentially called homeos, which is based on TVVOS and will prominently tell Siri and Apple Intelligence.
2. The screen will be the focal point
Second, the key focal point of the so -called Vitillo will be its exhibition. Here, the rumors have indicated a 7 -inch screen with a thick bevel, with a front camera mounted on the upper edge. The latter will reflect an emphasis on the use of the device for video calls.
3. The smart screen will admit applications and carry a popular iphone feature
The third point is that Apple Apps, of course, will be compatible. And finally, you can expect some characteristics of other applications, such as the iPhone waiting board. However, the approach will remain to control its connected Smart Home devices.
4. Eyes in the AI Award
Apple has never really accepted the smart home insofar as some rivals have. Of course, you can control connected products using Homekit and the Home application, but these have their problems. Beyond that, there is also a surprising lack of hardware of the Apple brand in this space. All that could change in next year or two.
But the smart home is not Apple’s true goal: it is artificial intelligence. The AI is a huge and booming market at this time, and Apple has already been left behind due to its well -documented struggles with its Apple intelligence platform, with a large number of delayed promised characteristics and completely missing.
Like many technological companies, Apple wants to carry its AI in the greatest number of customers of customers as possible, so launching a smart home center makes a lot of sense in this regard: it gives Apple another way to attract customers that until now they could not be convinced by Apple’s intelligence.
However, this is not the only intelligent domestic product in which rumors claim that Apple is working. The company also has something under the sleeve that would understand a screen at the end of a robotic arm, allowing it to move at will. However, this more advanced product is not expected until “one year or two” after the Home -Pad is launched, while Gurman adds that Apple has “drawn some bolder features from the device” to prepare it faster.
Time is of the essence, and Apple is very aware of that. With its first starting center that is potentially launched at the end of this year, we will soon discover whether Apple’s efforts have been worth it or need more time in the oven.
