Apple Maps has traveled a long road since its unstable launch in 2012, and today you can face face to Google Maps as one of the best mapping applications that exist. Now, Apple hopes to solidify your reputation by adding a new promising feature to Apple Maps, and could help you find your next favorite restaurant.
According to Apple’s press release, you can now look Falling in love and Golf digestion coming soon. That means you can find highly qualified restaurants without having to track first through a lot of reports and reviews.
Apple explained that “the place cards will now reflect distinctions, descriptions and images of expert sources” in Apple Maps. The new grades are available for Apple Maps users in the US. And will soon come to other locations, said Apple.
As the mention of Golf digestion Above are insinuated, the changes will not only affect restaurants: Apple Maps will soon add additional information for hotels and golf courses too, with grades of the Michelin Key hotel scheme available now. You can directly reserve selected hotels through Apple Maps, with reservations for Michelin restaurants and supreme golf sessions along the way.
Expert reviews
I prefer to use Apple Maps to Google Maps, since I find that your maps are more detailed and your clearest vocal instructions. But I admit that Google Maps has a key advantage: user reviews. Google only has many more criticisms published in restaurants, stores and attractions that Apple, although Apple Maps can obtain tripadvisor ratings.
Then, with Apple Maps adding support for expert reviews of restaurants, hotels and more, I hope that my preferred mapping application can reach Google in this key area. Because I love using Apple Maps for most things, either in application or online, it is a pain to change to Google Maps whenever you want to get a broader range of restaurant reviews.
The incorporation of Michelin Reviews is only the latest Apple Maps update, which recently added a link with the next Brat Pitt F1 movie. If you want to obtain these reviews of Apple Maps experts, simply add a search filter and start navigating. That should help you find a better place to eat or stay in some fast taps.
