- Tim Cook has been talking at a meeting of all hands
- Cook promised that Apple has a brilliant future of AI
- There are some “incredible” products in the pipeline
The delays and problems around Apple’s intelligence have been well documented, but Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook, says that his company is not renouncing an AI, and in fact has said that the AI market is “ours to grab” in a recent meeting of all hands.
According to Mark Gurman generally reliable in Bloomberg, the one -hour meeting was held just after Apple’s most recent earnings call, and both Tim Cook and the senior vice president of Software Engineering Craig Federight were apparently optimistic about the future of Apple’s artificial intelligence.
“Apple must do this,” Cook said in AI. “Apple will do this. This is a kind of ours to grab.” According to the reports, the CEO continued to say that although Apple has not always been the first in the categories of products, it can usually catch up and overcome its rivals.
According to Gurman, Cook also encouraged Apple employees to use more in their daily work, to avoid being “left behind” in the field. The CEO is predicting that AI will be larger than smartphones, applications and the Internet.
‘A much bigger update’
As for Federight, according to the reports, he told the staff that Apple was overcoming the initial challenges he had faced by adding Apple’s intelligence about Siri. Instead of merging two systems, engineers are now working on the construction of a completely new architecture.
“The work we have done in this end of the end of Siri has given us the results we need,” said the executive. “This has put us in a position not only to deliver what we announce, but to offer a much greater update than we imagine.”
Apple has clearly hurried their efforts in AI in an attempt to reach the tastes of Operai and Google, having to get promising features of ads that have not yet materialized, but it seems that Apple is still completely committed to technology.
It is said that the meeting of all hands has covered other issues, including Apple TV+, Airpods and the impact of regulations. Cook also mentioned that there is an “amazing” series of Apple products in the pipe, which can include a folding iPhone.
