Let Apple surprise or at least turn the tables in the rumor factory. Yes, we obtained a new and more affordable iPhone, but it is not an iPhone SE 4. Instead, Apple presented the iPhone 16E, expanding the iPhone 16 line with a budget phone of $ 599 / £ 599 / AU $ 999, Telephone Budget Ready for Apple’s intelligence.
With the A18 CPU, the same 3 nanometers processor found in the rest of the iPhone 16 line, much of the 6.1 -inch iPhone 16E is one step below the base iPhone 16 model.
It has only a 48mp camera that shoots at 24MP by default (and up to 4K 60 FPS of video).
The screen is a Super Retina XDR screen, but instead of the dynamic island, they treat us with the return of the notch with a 12MP Truedpth camera. The good news is that Face ID enables, which can be used to unlock and authenticate safely.
The 16E iPhone includes the action button, but with additional wrinkles to be able to program it to execute visual intelligence. While the 16E iPhone is not a real update for the iPhone Se line, it brings some features welcome to the most affordable smart phone in Apple.
The 16E iPhone has a USB-C port for load, but also admits the wireless load. It is executing an A18 chip that admits Apple Intelligence and all the characteristics that currently admit in iOS 18, including genumojis, Writing Assistance and Call Transcription. It even includes satellite communications support and starts with 128 GB of storage, but can be configured up to 512 GB.
The early orders for the 16E iPhone begin on Friday, February 21 and the phone begins to be sent on February 28. It is available in matt black or matt white.
