Apple has revealed an important visual redesign for its next iOS 26, Ipados 26, Macos 26, Tvvos 26 and Watchos 26 software updates.
Announced in WWDC 2025, the new software design language emphasizes transparency and fluidity, incorporating a new digital ‘material called liquid glass that practically refracts in light and dynamically reacts to user movements.
According to Apple, iOS 26 will be the largest update of the visual identity of Apple’s iPhone software since iOS 7 in 2013 was launched.

Apple points out that the rounded and transparent elements of the visos served as an inspiration for the new software design, which also remodeled the icons of the application somewhere between the aspect of iOS 18 and Macos Sequoia.
