Arch Raiders Cold Snap is a new update that will add snowy map conditions to certain areas. It’s the big release planned for December and will bring new missions, a brand new Raider Deck, and an event.
I’ve been playing for over 100 hours now. Arch Raidersand I can’t wait to try out the new snow map condition once this new content arrives. It is the last major patch planned for 2025, as described in the latest Arch Raiders Roadmap. Fortunately, it looks like a pretty big drop, with plenty to tide players over until the new year.
Arc Raiders Cold Snap Update Release Date
Arch Raiders Cold Snap launches on December 16, 2025. We’ll hear more about specific timings soon, but we expect the patch to require a download and installation before playing.
Missions
More missions will be added to Arc Raiders as part of the Cold Snap update. This means that more quests can be accepted from vendors in Speranza. Expect new rewards, probably related to the conditions of Cold Snap’s snowfall map.
Snowfall Map Condition
Look
The Snowfall map condition is perhaps the most exciting thing coming to Arc Raiders in December. It will generate limited time events on the output map, covering certain locations in the snow.
We don’t know exactly how this will work yet, but I would expect heavy snow to reduce visibility. Hopefully, you’ll be able to track other players’ footprints as well.
New raider deck
The Raider Deck is essentially a Battle Pass in Arch Raiders. You can complete feats to earn credits that will then unlock rewards in the deck. So far, the main deck has been filled with awesome cosmetics and gear boxes including items like the Carabiner. Cold Snap will be adding a new Raider Deck, which is great news for me since I already completed the first one.
Flickering Flames Event
Finally, there is the Flickering Flames event. This is said to be a community event, much like the one held in conjunction with the North Line upgrade earlier this year. We don’t know how it will work yet, but if it’s like the last event, there will be a mini progression path to work through, unlocking rewards.
