The Longhorns star finished a trip of nine plays and 60 yards with a five -yard touchdown race with 45 seconds in the first quarter. When he got into the annotation zone, a defender of the Bearkats was split and proceeded to speak garbage while standing on him. There was a brief skirmish before the players returned to their lump.

He does not say that Manning was excited.

“He recovered his arrogance,” said Michael Taaffe from Texas Michael Taaffe after the game. “Everyone knew I was there. What showed tonight is what we expect.”

Manning said he was worried about having received a mocking penalty after movement.

“Probably a little there. My mother was quite angry about that,” Manning said. “I think it was an accumulated frustration during the last weeks.”

Manning looked totally different compared to the first three weeks of the season. He fought against the state of San José and Utep in the last two weeks, but looked comfortable against the state of Sam Houston.

“When he plays a little more loose and is free, that is the best version of Arch,” said Lonchorns coach Steve Sarkisian. “He started and began to throw the ball. He started using his legs. You could feel the rebound in his passage in the field.”

On Sunday, Texas fell to number 10 in the Associated Press Top 25. Lonshorns survey are 3-1 in the season.
