However, in 2012, Radar Online cited an unidentified source that said that the couple had separated silently around 2010 or 2011.
The source claimed that the Swifts stopped using their wedding rings and decided not to request divorce to avoid distracting Taylor’s growing fame.
Since then, no public statement or legal registration has confirmed a divorce.
A recent article by Yahoo Entertainment reiterated that swifts remain legally married and have never addressed rumors.
Both continue to participate in Taylor’s life, with Andrea often accompanying it on the tour and Scott maintaining a lower public profile.
According to people, the family moved from Penless to Nashville in 2004 to support Taylor’s incipient career. Despite the ongoing public interest, swifts have remained private over their marital status.
