ASEEFA condemns healthy murder

Islamabad:

The First Lady and MNA ASEEFA Bhutto-Zardari have condemned the murder of the influence of 17-year social networks Yousaf, stating that the tragedy should not be able to intimidate girls or deter them from pursuing their ambitions.

When qualifying the incident, a gloomy reflection of the violence supported by women and girls simply by affirming their autonomy, Aseefa extended the sincere condolences to the healthy family, the broader Chitral community and all who cry the meaningless murder.

“Healthy was just a girl, with ambition, with dreams, with a life ahead,” said Aseefa in a statement. “I had every right to live freely and safely. What happened to him was not just an act of violence, it was a punishment for saying no. And that should horrify each of us.”

ASEEFA pointed out that the violence of male law was not a new, or isolated phenomenon, saying that it should no longer be excused under the pretext of cultural or traditional values.

“This mentality that a woman’s rejection is an insult, that her choices must be controlled: she is old, it is cruel, and she is killing our daughters. My mother, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, broke those walls with her own strength. She did not lead, only opens the doors so that the millions of women follow it. And we owe her to her legume and her young people as the young people like the health follow it.

Responding to the comment of the social networks that arose after the death of healthy, some of which seemed to blame it for its online presence, ASEEFA rejected any attempt to justify violence through stories of guilt to the victims.

“There is nothing, there is no application, no photo, without video, that excuses the murder. It is disturbing to see the people who use the presence of healthy Tiktok to explain his death. If that is logic, are we saying that millions of girls in Pakistan are also at risk? This type of thought is not just dangerous, it is inhuman.”

“For all the girls who look at this, do not let them silence you. You have the right to dream, talk, exist without fear. Do not go back. If you do, they win. But if we continue advancing, together, we will shape a country where girls are not blamed for their own deaths, but are celebrated for their lives.”

Earlier this month, Sana Yousaf, 17, was shot dead in Islamabad.
