Karachi:
The management of the movement and safety of the VIP lanes in all airports throughout the country, including Karachi, has been delivered to the airport security force (ASF), official sources confirmed on Tuesday.
They said that the ASF will now be fully responsible for the security of the VIP lane and the lane-2 in all airports, hence the Pakistan Airport Authority (PAA) and private security companies may no longer manage or control access to these specific lanes.
The sources said the decision was made in view of the main security concerns.
