Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, dismissed a wide side against the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI), accusing the former prime minister imprisoned to go against the country’s interests for achieving their own nefarious objectives.

When asked about PTI’s protests in London, Defense Minister declared that Pakistan had important diplomatic, military and economic relations with that country, adding that the two countries had exemplary relations in several fields.

He said that the people of PTI were trying to sabotage the economy through propaganda. “They are not honest with anything, nor do they have any commitment. Pakistan’s people are aware of that and are seeing all this,” he added.
Asif warned that such tactics would not return the government to Imran. “Pakistan is currently on the road to development and no force or conspiracy can damage the country. The army is currently making unprecedented sacrifices in the war on terrorism. Such patriotism is not preceded in history.”
On the other hand, Asif questioned Imran’s loyalty to Pakistan. However, he emphasized that “this time it will also happen, and things are improving.” He added: “In a few months or years everything will be fine and its chaos policy will be buried forever.”
