Ubisoft has reportedly appointed Batman: Arkham Origins‘director Benoit Richer as the protagonist of Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe.
This is according to Richer’s LinkedIn profile, discovered by ClawsomeGamer, where the developer detailed in his ‘About’ description his return to Ubisoft as game director on the virtual reality psychological thriller. Transferfollowed by Assassin’s Creed Vahallaand “currently Assassin’s Creed Hex“.
Benoit was director of level design at EA from 2008 to 2010, after which he briefly joined Ubisoft, where he worked on Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas 2before moving to WB Games Montreal, where he served as game director in 2013. Batman: Arkham Origins.
The developer rejoined Ubisoft Montreal in 2017 and worked as a game director on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and appears to continue his leadership duties as director in hex.
It also seems that Valhalla narrative director and Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag Head writer Darby McDevitt will be the narrative director of hexaccording to his LinkedIn.
Assassin’s Creed Hex It was announced in September 2022 and is expected to be the next big and original assassin’s creed series game.
While story details have yet to be confirmed, hex It will apparently take place during the witch trials in the Holy Roman Empire.
The game does not have a release date yet, but Ubisoft is reportedly preparing several others. assassin’s creed behind-the-scenes games, including a rumored assassin’s creed redo and a Black Flag redo.
