Astronaut – Pakistan mission appears in the stars

Islamabad:

In a milestone that marks a new chapter in the scientific evolution of Pakistan, the nation is preparing to send its first astronaut to space, an achievement once seemed a distant dream, now transforming into a tangible reality.

With the newly dried ink in a historical cooperation agreement between the National Space Agency of Pakistan, Supparco and the Morted Space Agency of China (CMSA), the countdown has begun for a historical trip to the Chinese Space Station (CSS), Tiangong.

According to this agreement, two Pakistani astronauts will undergo rigorous training at the Chinese astronaut center. Ultimately, one of them will be chosen as a specialist in scientific payload, which is entrusted with the completion of advanced research aboard the CSS.

The selection process, scheduled for its completion by 2026, will culminate in the astronaut that joins one of China’s next missions. The importance of this company extends far beyond the symbolic achievement of a Pakistani in space.

The Mission of the Astronaut aboard the CSS will include scientific experiments in Biology, fluid mechanics, medical science, material studies, spatial radiation and more fields with long -range implications for life on earth.

The Chinese station is equipped with avant -garde research modules that offer a unique microgravity environment, allowing scientists to carry out studies impossible to replicate on Earth.

“This agreement is a milestone on the space trip of Pakistan,” said the president of the Space and upper atmosphere Research Commission (Supparco) Mohammad Yousuf Khan. “It reflects our perseverance, adaptability and technological advances that we have made in recent years.”
